Eagle's Select - 2006

While the 2005 Eagle's Select is a predominant Merlot blend, the 2006 Eagle's Select is a Cabernet Franc Meritage blend.  The Eagle's Select is aged for 18 months in new French oak, making it a perfect wine to sip today or to cellar gracefully for years. This rich, chewy wine should be paired with meat of the same quality, like lamb or duck.

Pairs well with an elegant dinner and a group of people who knows that North Carolina produces fine wines.
